Transfers for Children to Schools, Airports, Playground, Sporting Lessons and Private Lessons

As per the laws in Australia, it is not legal for an individual driver to take children below 18 years alone. This is for the protection and safety of the child/children.

There are instances where parents are unable to be with the child to take them to school or to the playground for sporting reasons. There could be private music lessons, academic tuitions or dental appointments the child may need to go to on a regular basis.

We have had enquires from parents of school children staying in boarding schools asking if we could take the children from their schools hostels to the Airports or to the school from the Airport.

After receiving many enquires regarding these situations, we are setting up a Husband and Wife driving team, who have grandchildren and have Police clearance for not having any criminal history, and holding blue card- a Police check needed to work with children in Queensland.

All through the Transfer, we encourage parents and children to keep the phone line on with the parent/s or guardian/s so they can also monitor what is going on including the conversation with the couple driving.

Children will not be allowed to sit in the front row with the drivers, but need to sit in the second row as the drivers will be sitting in the first row away from the children.

Presently, we are considering to open up this service for providing transport for minor children in Brisbane and the Gold Coast with a small additional charge added to the normal charge to accomodate the wage of the second adult with the driver.
