COVID19 Passenger Restrictions by Queensland Government

There is an update from the Queensland State’s (of Australia) Transport Department regarding the number of passengers allowed in a car.

According to the new guidelines, other than the driver only one passenger per vehicle is allowed in a private transport to keep with the social distancing laws in place to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID19) But if you belong to a family group you are allowed to travel as a group in the car.

In other words if two employees of a business wish to travel together in a private transfer service it is not legal to travel so. Each of them need to take two seperate vehicle to reach the office.

But if a family of 4 going from the Airport to their home using our private transfer service from Any of the Airports in Queensland such a Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast etc that is legally acceptable.
