And, for the cherry on top, the Tambourine Treetop Challenge. Set on three hectares of natural bushland, the facility features more than 100 challenges across six courses. Another amazingly spectacular pastime is the Tambourine Rainforest Skywalk, which is great for an early morning walk and leaves you up in the canopy with the wild life, with the exotic sounds, vivid colours and cool breezes.

The skywalk leaves you feeling calm, immersed in your surroundings and ready for the day. Feeling thirsty after the skywalk? Visit the Tambourine Mountain winery, run by Jon Heslop and his wife, Kim. Their Witches Falls Winery’s cell door is the place you can expect to find perfect wine.

Thunderbird Park is another of the many activities there, providing fossil-digging experiences and making damper. The food is reputed to be amazing and it’s great for a 2 day camp with the family or friends. And, on the drive up to the mountain, there is a large rock painted like a piano, a great way to keep the kids distracted during the ride up. See if you can find it!
