The Cook Island Aquatic reserve is located in the Tweed Shire of NSW and is an environmentally protected special place. Entry to the Island is highly restricted, this being a breeding place for seabirds and marine life.

You can view the Cook Island from Fingal Head. This is a great view with flying birds around the island, the deep blue sea forming the background, surfers in the deeper sea by side and beautiful Gold Coast braced in the horizon.
Other than these feasts you may also see dolphins frolicking in the waves sometimes even amidst the surfers.
